Animals!

I've been taking a few pet pictures lately. My friend Iain got a cat who I wanted to take pics of, and my sister also got 2 new cats at the same time. My mum is a dog-sitter, where she looks after peoples dogs when they go away on holiday, rather than putting them in a kennel. She sometimes gets some funny characters in, like Betty a fat Bassett Hound who looks like a seal when she rolls on her back. I have put in a new section for Animals because I'm sure there will be more. Go and have a look!

Down and Out

Well it looks like Haggler has broken his hand and may be out for a good few weeks. This sucks because it means i pretty much have nobody to ride with. On the plus side though I did just stumble across a wicked picture of him I forgot all about. Nothing fancy, just chilling at Farnborough. Go have a peep. x

Wales and that

My legs are still aching a bit after going to the Brecon Beacons in Wales over the weekend with my Dad. We walked a few miles on Saturday, we took a trip up Pen Y Fan in the afternoon even though it was pretty cloudy. We didn't go to the top because of the weather, and I'm pretty sure the view would have been amazing on a clear day.

On Sunday we spent a few hours on the edge of death tying not to fall off rocks in to the waterfalls below. I can't remember the names of any of the falls, but they were all pretty cool. It would be good to go there with someone with local knowledge because I'm sure there are some much better photo opportunities than i got. You can See the pics in the Travel section.

In other news I just got a Holga. If you're an art student the chances are you'll already know about these, but i only just got told about them. Basically it's a really plasticky, cheap medium format camera from China, with very basic controls and unpredictable (but in a good way) results. To see more about Holgas go here

As you can see, I have a rather advanced model, complete with a real hot-shoe to attach a flash, 2 apertures (one of which is completely useless) and 4 focusing distances. Not forgetting of course a thread for a tripod.

The sad thing is I actually had a dream about this camera i was so excited about getting it.

Jeesus!

Oh yeah, I stuck up some more pics in the People section, mostly from Gay Pride in Brighton over the summer. Go there NoW!! QUICK!

I just checked up to see what my friends at Zeal BMX Distribution have been up to. Imagine my delight and almost uncontrollable excitement when I saw this gem! They used the pic in an Alone AD in Ride UK a couple of months back, now Big Money Brian (with no hair a looking quite hard) has gone and made it in to a T!!!! Sick as, I'm pestering for a proper ltd edition run of these badboys!
In Other news there is a small spider on my screen, but he seems ok so i'll let him jst chill there for a bit.

Spooks Trails on Sunday...........

It was Daysons 21st birthday celebrations over the weekend, we all went out and had a good time, followed by a nice Sunday roast and some riding in the afternoon at Spooks. The trails there are amazing, all wonky and hippy, i think there's only about 2 straight jumps there! Ian was nice enough to ket us ride there, and Adam Bora who I haven't seen since Canada I think was there too so that was pretty cool. Hagler and Dayson were going of as usual, I fell off and cursed the trails as usual, and everyone else just chilled out and looked for nuts and berries. I'll be going back there for sure, maybe I'll be able to ride them a bit better next time!

Oh yeah, also Dayson got one of the old B-List slogans tattoed on his leg by iain, who's apprenticing as a tattooist! Cool huh!

Sheffield Invasion

Snowy visited this weekend from Sheffield with 2 friends, Pulf and Nev in tow. They visted the park and filmed some stuff. Pulf did the HSBC gap to rail which (to my knowlege) hasn't been been done before. He took it a few times but nailed it in the end. Then we went back to my house, Moses cooke an amazing chilli and we atched Topgun. Good times. I think the vid ill be called Slack or something like that so keep an eye our for it!
