Wales and that

My legs are still aching a bit after going to the Brecon Beacons in Wales over the weekend with my Dad. We walked a few miles on Saturday, we took a trip up Pen Y Fan in the afternoon even though it was pretty cloudy. We didn't go to the top because of the weather, and I'm pretty sure the view would have been amazing on a clear day.

On Sunday we spent a few hours on the edge of death tying not to fall off rocks in to the waterfalls below. I can't remember the names of any of the falls, but they were all pretty cool. It would be good to go there with someone with local knowledge because I'm sure there are some much better photo opportunities than i got. You can See the pics in the Travel section.

In other news I just got a Holga. If you're an art student the chances are you'll already know about these, but i only just got told about them. Basically it's a really plasticky, cheap medium format camera from China, with very basic controls and unpredictable (but in a good way) results. To see more about Holgas go here

As you can see, I have a rather advanced model, complete with a real hot-shoe to attach a flash, 2 apertures (one of which is completely useless) and 4 focusing distances. Not forgetting of course a thread for a tripod.

The sad thing is I actually had a dream about this camera i was so excited about getting it.

Jeesus!

Oh yeah, I stuck up some more pics in the People section, mostly from Gay Pride in Brighton over the summer. Go there NoW!! QUICK!
